On the heels of their first Suncoast Conference Championship in program history, seven Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers were honored by the conference in the release of their 2019 All-Conference squads.  Leading the way was Ryan Gusto who was named the Pitcher of the Year, Shamir Morales who was the Defensive Player of the Year and Coach Ben Bizier who was named Coach of the Year.

It was a record breaking February for the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneer baseball team, but not even they could foresee the historic way that they would kick off the month of March on Friday.  After dismantling ASA Miami 14-2 in the first game of their split doubleheader, four FSW pitchers combined for the first perfect game in program history in game two in a 14-0  win over Elev8 Academy.

Bucs Kick Off 2019 Season This Weekend

The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers kick off their 2019 season Friday and Saturday at the Historic City of Palms Park in Fort Myers.  The Bucs will take on ASA-Miami to open the season once again with a single game Friday night at 6 PM and a doubleheader beginning at 1 PM on Saturday.

Three Bucs Sign Division I In Early Signing Period

Three Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneer sophomores have signed NCAA Division I letters of intent during the early signing period which opened last week.  Pitcher Mitch Myers is headed to the ACC’s Pittsburgh, while fellow righthander Ryan Gusto will play at Western Kentucky, and infielder Connor Bagnieski inked with Chicago State.
