Perfect Week Jumps Bucs Three Spots in NJCAA Poll

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers moved back up three spots in this week's NJCAA Top 20 Poll to #12 after going a perfect 4-0 last week.
The Bucs handled their competition with ease last week, outscoring their opponents 27-5, taking the final game of a three game set with Hillsborough before sweeping South Florida State. The Bucs are 37-13 on the year and have a two game lead atop the Suncoast Conference standings at 18-6 heading into the final two weeks of play.
Wabash Valley and Walters State remained the #1 and #2 teams in the poll this week with Central Arizona and San Jacinto flip flopping at #3 and #4 and Crowder again rounding out the top five. The three FCSAA teams in this week's poll are all smashed together with Santa Fe at #11, FSW at #12, and Chipola two spots below them at #14.
The Bucs begin the home stretch of their 2021 season tonight in Clearwater against St. Petersburg where they will take on the Titans in a 5 PM first pitch in the first of a three game set between the two.
