High School: Rodriguez stays close to home to play for the Bucs in 2022 after prepping at Cape Coral's Island Coast High School where he was a four time letterwinner. As a senior he threw 77 innings, striking out 103 and walking just 9 while posting a 1.27 ERA. He also added a perfect game to his resume as a senior.

Personal: Born January 9, 2003, he is the son of Oscar Rodriguez. He has three sisters, Lianet (23), Marien (31), and Lisandra (32).
