Freshman (2021): Tomaini transfers to FSW from Chipola where he hit .303 with 4 home runs and 14 RBIs for the Indians as a freshman.  He started his collegiate career with a bang, going 2-3 with a double and a  home run in a win over Polk State.  He had eight multi-hit games on the season including a pair against the Bucs.

Besser Deals Bucs to Series Clinching Win

Sometimes relief pitchers come in and get an out to get their team out of a jam, or sometimes they throw a scoreless inning to close out a win, and then there is what Grant Besser did for the #7 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers Monday afternoon in Downtown Fort Myers.  Besser entered early in what was shaping up to be a shootout between the Bucs and the State College of Florida Manatees and threw five innings of sparkling relief, allowing just one run to will FSW to a 9-6 win to clinch the series win and cut the Bucs magic number for their third straight Suncoast Conference Championship to just one.

No-Hit Through Five, Bucs Explode Late For 16-0 Win

Through five innings Friday afternoon in Tampa, the #8 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers offense couldn't have been much worse as they were staring a no-hitter in the eyes in their series finale against the Hillsborough Hakws.  Out of their first 15 outs, the Bucs had nine flyouts, five strikeouts, and one groundout, but that all changed in the 6th as FSW exploded for nine runs before putting up six more in the 7th to blow the Hawks out 16-0 for their second straight Suncoast Conference sweep.

Tomaini Walks Off Titans to Complete Sweep

The #9 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers missed a number of scoring chances Saturday afternoon at City of Palms Park as they took on the St. Petersburg Titans, but with the game on the line, FSW's Paxton Tomaini made them forget all of them as the sophomore came through with a walk off single in the bottom of the 9th to give the Bucs a 4-3 win and complete FSW's fourth conference sweep of the season.

Bucs Drop Close One to End Record Streak

As the old saying goes, all good things must come to an end and the #14 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers found that out the hard way on Monday as the Bucs saw their program record 13 game winning streak come to an end at the hands of the #20 Polk State Eagles.  Polk used a four run 7th and held off a late rally from FSW for a 9-8 win to salvage the third game of a three game set between the Suncoast Conference's top two teams.

Right now the #14 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers are a runaway train and you don't want to be downhill of the Bucs on the track. Norman's 8th Inning Blast Propels Bucs Over Panthers

After struggling to come up with the big hit for seven innings Monday afternoon at City of Palms Park, the #17 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers got one big swing of the bat of freshman Satchell Norman to change all of that in the 8th as Norman cranked a three run home run, turning a 3-1 FSW deficit against the visiting South Florida State Panthers, into a 4-3 Bucs lead which they closed out in the 9th for their seventh consecutive victory.

The best was saved for the last at the Marissa Gusto Memorial Tournament at City of Palms Park in Downtown Fort Myers as the 3-0 and 15th ranked Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers squared off against the 2-0 and 8th ranked Miami Dade Sharks Sunday afternoon.
