Florida SouthWestern State slugger AJ Shaver was rewarded for the best single offensive season in Buccaneer history on Monday as the Clermont, Florida native was named a 2nd Team NJCAA All-American as released by the National Office. He is the first FSW hitter in program history to earn All-American accolades.

A pair of Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers were named to the FCSAA All-State Team released Thursday at the State Tournament banquet in Lakeland as outfielder AJ Shaver was named a 1st Team All-State selection while fellow slugger Derek Williams was a 2nd Team pick.

Bucs End Season With State Tournament Loss

In game one of the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers' three game FCSAA State Tournament series with #3 Central Florida, it was the big innings from the Patriots that did the Purple and Aqua in.  Saturday it was the opposite as the Patriots scored in eight of nine innings, answering every FSW push with their own as the Bucs season came to a close with a 12-6 win by Central Florida to sweep the series 2-0.
