High School: Spang prepped at Legion Collegiate Academy where he led his team to a State Championship with a 32-4 record as a senior. He logged 42 2/3 innings, striking out 76 and posting a 0.84 ERA.
Personal: Born May 4, 2004, he is the son of Scott and Trent Spang. He has two sisters, Sarah (27) and Madison (26), and one brother, David (32).
