PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers shot at history will have to wait one more day as the 2025 FCSAA Championship Game between FSW and Central Florida was rained out on Monday at Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte and will now be played on Tuesday at noon with a trip to the Juco World Series on the line.
The game was originally scheduled to be played at 10 AM on Monday after Central Florida forced a winner take all game seven with an 18-14 win in the tournament's first Championship Game on Sunday. Forecasted weather then pushed start time back to noon before light rain kicked that back 30 more minutes to a 12:30 start. Another front came through, delaying things further to 2:00 PM before officials called things off around 1:30 PM and postponed things to Tuesday.
The Bucs and Patriots will now battle it out on the backfields at Charlotte Sports Park at noon on Tuesday with the FCSAA Championship and a trip to the Juco World Series on the line.
