Another Florida SouthWestern Buccaneer is headed to the Division I level as All-Conference outfielder Devin Parks has signed with Radford University for the 2026 season.
FORT MYERS, Fla.- Another Florida SouthWestern Buccaneer is headed to the Division I level as All-Conference outfielder Devin Parks has signed with Radford University for the 2026 season.
Parks was a 1st Team All-Citrus Conference and 2nd Team All-FCSAA selection as a sophomore this season, hitting .356 with 7 home runs and 43 RBIs for the Bucs. He had 18 multi-hit games including a five hit game where he hit for the cycle and drove in six runs in a win over Inspiration Academy. During a five game hitting streak in February Parks piled up 11 hits including five for extra bases. In another five game heater after Spring Break he had five straight multi-hit games, accounting for 15 runs with eight scored and seven more driven in. He came up huge in the Bucs run to their first FCSAA Championship, recording hits in each of the final five games of the tournament, including popping home runs in FSW's first two games in Port Charlotte to earn All-Tournament Team honors.
Parks joins a Highlanders squad coming off of a 28-28 campaign in 2025 that included a 13-11 mark in Big South action and a three game run at the Big South Championships.
Parks is one of nine Bucs to sign at the Division one level and 13 FSW sophomores overall who have signed at the next level, joining Abel Albarran (Middle Tennessee St.), Luke Orfi (Texas Tech), Jake Mueller & Anthony Ruocco (UNC-Greensboro), Brock Knoerr (Western Kentucky), Nathan Fink (Sam Houston State), Beau Brailey (Campbell), Nik Pereira & Josiah Velazquez (Tampa), Brandon Eldridge (Gardner Webb), Carlos Sanchez (LSU-Shreveport), and Brett Dennis (Rollins).
