High School: Berbes remains close to home to play for the Bucs after attending East Lee County High School where he was a two way threat, hitting .425 with 19 stolen bases at the plate and striking out 69 in just 30 2/3 innings pitched with a 1.45 ERA on the mound as a senior.
Personal: Born September 30, 2007, he is the son of Anell Berbes and Yaneya Fernandez. He has a younger brother, Abdel (15).
