Demetree to Join Greer with Green Wave
There will be a pair of Bucs in the Big Easy next season as Florida SouthWestern slugger Robbie Demetree has signed to join teammate Cole Greer at Tulane University in 2027.
FORT MYERS, Fla.- There will be a pair of Bucs in the Big Easy next season as Florida SouthWestern slugger Robbie Demetree has signed to join teammate Cole Greer at Tulane University in 2027.
Demetree has had a big sophomore season for the Bucs after transferring from the University of Central Florida where he played last season. He put together a 1.094 OPS in 46 regular season games for FSW, cracking 11 home runs and adding 13 doubles while driving in 45 runs for the Bucs. He has 14 multi-hit games this season including a five hit effort in which he missed the cycle by just a triple, while driving in five runs in a 27-4 thrashing of Polk State.
Demetree will join a history rich Tulane program that has 17 Conference Championships across three different leagues while making 23 NCAA Tournament appearances including a pair of College World Series trips.
Demetree is one of seven Bucs signed to play at the Division I level next season joining Evan Taveras (Central Florida), Nicholas Lorenz (East Carolina), Cole Greer (Tulane), Judd Hildreth (Murray State), Parker Burgess (College of Charleston), and Greg Caban (Eastern Kentucky).
