Bio

High School: Rogers makes his way to the City of Palms after prepping at Liberty Heights Athletic Institute where he averaged 17 points and 9 rebounds per game as a senior.  Also a star in the classroom, Rogers was on the LHAI Honor Roll.  After FSW he will look to join high school teammates Justin Champagnie (Pittsburgh), Julian Champagnia (St. Johns), Keith Williams (Cincinnati), Michael Wynn (Akron), and Juwan Gray (Alabama) at the Division I level.  

Personal: He is the son of Keith and Lisa Rogers.  He has one brother, Armani (26).

#17 FSW Takes Out Frustrations on Miami Dade

Sometimes you are just in the wrong place at the wrong time and the Miami Dade Sharks couldn't have fit that statement much better than they did Wednesday night in Suncoast Credit Union Arena as the #17 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers put a 121-87 spanking on the Sharks in FSW's first game back after their first conference loss in over four years.

High Flying Bucs Lead Wire to Wire Against Panthers

The #13 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers put on a show for their home crowd Saturday afternoon in Suncoast Credit Union Arena, topping the 90 point mark for the seventh straight game and leading wire to wire in a 98-64 win over the visiting Palm Beach State Panthers in Southern Conference action.

Bucs Retool with Nine Newcomers on 2020-2021 Roster

After moving eight players on to the NCAA Division I level last season, a Florida SouthWestern State Men’s Basketball program that has gone 59-5 over the past two seasons had lots of restocking to do for 2020-2021. Head Coach Eric Murphy feel like the Bucs have done just that, adding nine newcomers to the fold including a pair of Division I transfers to go with a talented freshman crop.
