Bucs Drop to #15 in Week Two Rankings
The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers took a tumble to #15 in the NJCAA week two rankings following their first loss of the season against Northwest Florida State.
CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers took a tumble to #15 in the NJCAA week two rankings following their first loss of the season against Northwest Florida State.
The Bucs are 3-1 on the year after a 74-53 road win over Eastern Florida on Wednesday and the aforementioned loss to Northwest on Saturday at home.
It was an even geographical distribution in the top five this week as South Plains held the top spot with Tallahassee coming in at #2, Sale Lake at #3, Vincennes at #4, and Pearl River at #5. FSW was one of four FCSAA squads in the top 20, joined by Tallahassee, Gulf Coast at #9, and new Southern Conference mate Indian River at #19.
The Bucs are back in action on Wednesday at home against Central Pointe in a 7 PM tip before opening Southern Conference play on February 10th on the road at Palm Beach.
