Redshirt (2022-2023): Paul redshirted for the Bucs last season. 

High School: Paul prepped just down the road at Barron Collier High School where he earned three letters for the Cougars.  He averaged a double-double as a senior with 10.4 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 5.7 blocked shots per game while leading his team to a District Championship and a 20-10 record.  

Personal: Born December 15, 2003, he is the son of Yvrose Jules and Cherel Paul.  He has four siblings, Cherlson (22), Laurie (24), Carlsen (17), and Cherldine (15).

Bucs Season Ends In Last Second Heartbreaker

In what seemed to be the story of their season, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers suffered another last second defeat Wednesday night in the opening round of the FCSAA State Tournament in Niceville, watching as #9 Northwest Florida State was fouled and made a free throw with 2.7 seconds remaining to come away with a 66-65 win to end the Buccaneers 2024 season.

Bucs Suffer Heartbreaking Loss In Regular Season Finale

The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers led the #8 Daytona State Falcons for 37:56 of their Citrus Conference tilt Monday night in Suncoast Credit Union Arena.  The Falcons didn't lead for a single second of game action.  However, in one of the oddest quirks you will see on a stat sheet, the Falcons, who erased a 17 point FSW lead over the final 10 minutes of the contest, got a game winning basket with less than 0.1 on the clock to stun the Bucs and claim their share of the inaugural Citrus Conference Championship.

As the old saying goes 'it's not how you start, it's how you finish'; well that didn't necessarily ring true for the #24 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers on Wednesday night in Miami as the Bucs raced out to a 24 point first half lead, before hanging on late for a 74-64 win over the Miami Dade Sharks in Citrus Conference action.

The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers suffered another frustrating loss Friday night in Florida's state capital, watching as a last second shot missed it's mark and sent the Bucs to a 61-60 defeat at the hands of the Gulf Coast State Commodores to drop them to 7-4 on the year.

Huge Second Half Comeback Nets Bucs Win Over Mustangs

With 18:00 left in Friday's game against the Monroe Mustangs, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers looked like they were in trouble, trailing their counterparts from New York by 15.  Fast forward 16 minutes on the game clock and the Bucs were not only up, but up by 17 and well on their way to victory. At the final horn it was an 83-69 win for the Bucs over the Mustangs to improve to 6-3 overall on the year.

Bucs Break Century Mark Against Spartans

After needing a furious late game comeback on Friday to earn a win, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers were not in the mood for a repeat Saturday afternoon in Suncoast Credit Union Arena, starting hot and finishing hot in a 105-47 blowout of the visiting Elgin Spartans to close out the 2023 FSW Classic in Fort Myers.

Bucs Come Up Just Short In Overtime Battle With Top Ranked Raiders

The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers went toe to toe with the #1 ranked Northwest Florida State Raiders Saturday afternoon at the Florida Juco Shootout in Melbourne, Florida, missing a chance to win in regulation and then coming up just short in overtime in a 74-67 defeat to fall to 5-3 on the year.

Bucs Get Past Panthers In Low Scoring Affair

For fans of offense, Monday night's game between the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers and the Palm Beach State Panthers wasn't for you. The consolation prize for FSW fans was the Bucs coming away with a 67-50 win in a game that was marred with 32 turnovers and a combined 23% shooting from the three point line.

Playing in what was as much of a home game as he will get during his Florida SouthWestern career, Buccaneer sophomore AJ Hopkins put on a show Saturday afternoon at the Jets Classic in Americus, Georgia, nailing six three pointers and scoring a career high 20 as #8 Florida SouthWestern raced past East Georgia State 87-56 to improve to 2-1 on the early season.

The #8 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers kicked off their 2023-2024 season with a bang Wednesday night in Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers, rolling past the visiting Mont Sports Academy by a score of 89-56 with five different players scoring in double figures.
