Conference Champion Bucs Have Four Named All-Conference, Wallace Coach of the Year
On the heels of their 2026 Citrus Conference Championship, four players and Head Coach Darrin Wallace have been honored by the league as Mason Blazer, Kenyon Giles, and Tyler Bey have been named 1st Team All-Conference selections, Lamont Hartfield was the top choice on the 2nd Team, and Wallace was named the 2026 Citrus Conference Coach of the Year as announced by the FCSAA Friday.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- On the heels of their 2026 Citrus Conference Championship, four players and Head Coach Darrin Wallace have been honored by the league as Mason Blazer, Kenyon Giles, and Tyler Bey have been named 1st Team All-Conference selections, Lamont Hartfield was the top choice on the 2nd Team, and Wallace was named the 2026 Citrus Conference Coach of the Year as announced by the FCSAA Friday.
Blazer led three Bucs on the 1st Team, putting up 16.7 points per game during the regular season and shooting 43% from the three point line which was second best in the league. He nailed 73 triples during the regular season which were most in the Citrus Conference and rank third in FSW single season history.
Giles was also a 1st Team selection after a red hot finish to the 2026 regular season. He averaged over 19 points per game in the Bucs final nine contests including three efforts of 25 or more points.
Bey joined the pair on the 1st Team, bursting onto the scene at the break for the Bucs, averaging 14.7 points per game while ranking third in the Citrus Conference shooting 41.3% from three point range on the year.
Hartfield was a 2nd Team pick, putting up 12.4 points per game during the regular season. He scored in double figures 17 times including four 20+ point efforts for FSW.
Wallace earned Coach of the Year honors, leading the Bucs to their first Citrus Conference Championship in six seasons. FSW put together a 23-7 overall record during the regular season and a 13-3 mark in Citrus Conference play, finishing the regular season ranked in the Top 25 of the NJCAA National Rankings.
FSW begins their postseason run next Wednesday in Niceville where they will square off against #7 Chipola in the first round of the FCSAA Championships at Raider Arena.
