FORT MYERS, Fla.- Kenyon Giles will be trading in the Purple and Aqua of the Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers for the Red and Blue of UMass Lowell next season after signing with the River Hawks to continue his athletic and academic career in 2026-2027.
Giles was a 1st Team All-Citrus Conference selection for FSW this season as a sophomore, averaging 14.7 points and 3.2 assists per game. The silky smooth southpaw turned it on late in the year for the Bucs, topping the 20 point mark seven times during the second half of the season, including a season high 29 in a key win over Eastern Florida in which he drilled seven three pointers.
Giles becomes the first Buccaneer in program history to sign with UMass Lowell. The River Hawks finished in 4th place in the America East last season with a 9-7 mark in league play before reaching the tournament semifinals where they fell to top seeded UMBC to end their year.
Giles is one of three Bucs to sign at the Division I level so far this season joining Mason Blazer (LaSalle) and Lamont Hartfield (Lamar).
