Bio
Paez enters his 10th season on the Bucs bench in 2025-2026. In his nine seasons with FSW, the Bucs gone 217-55 including three straight undefeated Suncoast Conference Championships from 2018-2020 and have seen 50 graduates move on to the Division I level.
A retired professional basketball player, Paez spent multiple seasons abroad playing in Denmark, the United Kingdom, Germany, Hungary, Austria, and Spain. Prior to international play, Paez played Division I basketball at Stephen F. Austin State University graduating with a Bachelors in Kinesiology & Exercise Science with a concentration in Nutrition. No stranger to Juco basketball, Paez also captured championships along with All-American accolades as a player with Central Florida Community College.
A Southwest Florida local, Paez started under the mentorship of former Head Coach Marty Richter before serving under Eric Murphy, and now Darrin Wallace, joining them in building FSW basketball from scratch into a national powerhouse.
