Bio
High School: Marcum comes to FSW from the Midwest where she played at Bernie High School in Missouri. She had a decorated career with the Lady Mules as she was named the Conference MVP twice, was an All-State pick twice, and was named to the All-Conference and All-District teams three times each. She was off to a big start to her senior season before it was cut short due to Covid-19, hitting .571 with 12 RBIs at the plate and posting a 1.17 ERA in 12 innings pitched in the circle after six games. She finished her four year career with Bernie hitting .623 with 29 home runs and 139 RBIs while logging 329 innings on the mound, piling up 506 strikeouts and posting a 1.33 ERA. She led Bernie to a 56-15 record during her time, winning three conference and one district championship.
Personal: Born January 24, 2002, she is the daughter of Chuck and Amy Marcum. She has two sisters, Amy (40) and Megan (27) and two brothers, Aaron (44) and Darin (29).

Florida SouthWestern State Head Coach Robert Iamurri has seen a lot of wins in his six years at the helm for the Buccaneers. Wednesday, he said, may have been the best of them all as his Bucs battled back from a three run 7th inning deficit to win 14-13 in a walk off against #6 Seminole State to advance to the semifinal round of the winner's bracket at the NJCAA National Tournament in Yuma, Arizona.
After a cross country trip to the desert of the American Southwest, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers are just 24 hours away from their 2021 NJCAA National Tournament opener against Central Alabama. The Bucs will open play at the tournament Tuesday at 4 PM (PST) at the PAAC Complex in Yuma, Arizona when they take on the Trojans in the first round.
In a rivalry as old as time; ok, as old as the Bucs program, the #1 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers were stunned by the Chipola Indians 6-3 in the FCSAA State Tournament semifinals Saturday.
The #1 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers finished their 2021 regular season schedule with a statement on Thursday afternoon in Fort Pierce, sweeping the #10 Indian River State Pioneers by scores of 4-1 and 10-5 to roll into the FCSAA State Tournament next week on a 23 game winning streak.
There are many things that are synonymous with each other. Ketchup and mustard, Mickey and Minnie, Florida and Sunshine, and for the past six years, Florida SouthWestern Softball and Suncoast Conference Championships. Friday, at home at City of Palms Park, the #1 ranked Bucs swept St. Petersburg, clinching their fifth straight Suncoast Conference title, while finishing off their first undefeated conference schedule in program history.
Going into Thursday's doubleheader with Hillsborough, the #1 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers hadn't lost a Suncoast Conference game since March 14th of 2019 and that didn't change on Thursday at City of Palms Park in Downtown Fort Myers as FSW blew past the visiting Hillsborough Hawks 12-5 and 7-1 in doubleheader action to improve to a perfect 17-0 in conference play on the year.
