CHARLOTTE, N.C.- For the third straight week, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers are the top ranked team in the country, as the NJCAA released its week 10 poll Monday with the Bucs on top once again.
The Bucs were 2-0 last week to run their winning streak to 13 games and improve to 30-3 on the year. They took a pair of contests over South Florida State on Tuesday, winning 15-3 and 9-0 run rules against the Panthers.
The week 10 poll remained mostly unchanged with the top 11 teams all remaining the same this week. Following behind FSW once again was Salt Lake, Howard, Butler, and Central Florida in the Top 5. Lake Land and Three Rivers made the biggest jumps this week, Lake Land going up five spots to #12 and Three Rivers going from unranked to #15. Three of the top nine and four of the top 16 teams were FCSAA squads with FSW at #1, Central Florida at #5, Indian River at #9, and Pensacola at #16.
The Bucs are back in action tomorrow at home when they host Suncoast Conference rival State College of Florida in a 5 PM doubleheader from City of Palms Park.
