Graham Earns FCSAA Pitcher of the Week Honors
On the heels of throwing just the second perfect game in Florida SouthWestern history last week, freshman righthander Charlotte Graham has been named the FCSAA Pitcher of the Week as announced by the State on Tuesday.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- On the heels of throwing just the second perfect game in Florida SouthWestern history last week, freshman righthander Charlotte Graham has been named the FCSAA Pitcher of the Week as announced by the State on Tuesday.
Graham was perfect in her only start of the week last week, literally and figuratively. She retired all 15 St. Petersburg hitters she faced in a 13-0 FSW win, striking out 11 of the 15 in a five inning perfect game. She needed just 57 total pitches to get the job done, 43 of which landed in the strike zone.
Graham's perfect game was just the second in FSW history with Sarah Lawton throwing the first during the 2019 season.
On the season Graham is 4-0 with a 2.04 ERA, racking up 37 strikeouts in 24 innings pitched through 9 appearances.
Graham and the Bucs are back in action on Saturday in Winter Haven when they take on Polk State in a Citrus Conference doubleheader beginning at 1 PM.
