TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- After hitting .500 and accounting for 11 runs in four Florida SouthWestern wins last week, Buccaneers sophomore Noelani Livingstone has been tabbed the FCSAA Player of the Week for the second time this season in a state release Tuesday.
Livingstone led the Bucs to four Citrus Conference wins last week to keep FSW in the driver's seat for the League Championship. In game one of Tuesday's doubleheader against #14 Miami Dade she drove in the game winning run in the 7th inning of a 3-2 FSW victory. In game two she went off, going 4-5 and missing the cycle by just a triple, hitting a double and cracking a home run while driving home a pair in a 6-3 Bucs extra innings win. Thursday she was at it again, popping her second home run in as many games in a 9-0 thrashing of Central Florida in game one before reaching base in both of her plate appearances in a 12-0 game two victory for the Bucs.
On the season Livingstone is hitting .480 with 12 doubles, 4 triples, 4 home runs, and 35 RBIs while also going 22 for 23 in stolen base attempts on the year.
Livingstone and the Bucs are back in action Tuesday when they travel to Clearwater to take on St. Petersburg in a Citrus Conference doubleheader beginning at 2 PM.
