FORT MYERS, Fla.- Remaining idle the past week, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers stood idle in the NJCAA National Poll this week, sticking at #13 as the calendar flips to February.
Due to Covid contact tracing inside of the program, the Bucs have not seen the court since their season opener on January 20th. Their next scheduled contest comes on February 10th when they hit the road to open Southern Conference play against Palm Beach State.
There was just one newcomer to the week two poll as 24 of the 25 teams inside the Top 25 remained the same. Trinity Valley and Northwest Florida remained #1 and #2 while Chipola moved up to #3 and South Georgia Tech up a spot to #5 while South Plains dropped from #3 to #5. Including the Bucs, five teams from the state of Florida remain in the Top 25, matched only by Texas' five squads in the week two poll.
