CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Benefitting from some teams in front of them in the week two National Poll losing last week, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers moved up a spot to #12 in this week's NJCAA National Rankings.
FSW checks in at #12 this week and still sits at 1-0 on the year after Covid contact tracing cost them each of their past five games.
The top seven teams in the poll remained unchanged with Trinity Valley, Northwest Florida, Chipola, and South Georgia Tech continuing to pace the group. After FSW, there was significant movement as Wabash Valley went from #15 to out of the week three poll and Butler jumped all the way from outside the Top 25 to #16 along with Salt Lake and Southern Idaho making significant jumps up to #14 and #15.
The Bucs will finally be back in action after a 21 day layoff on Wednesday when they travel to Lake Worth to take on Palm Beach State in their 2021 Southern Conference opener. FSW returns home on Saturday when they host #15 Indian River in a 2:30 PM tip from Suncoast Credit Union Arena.
