Bucs Slide Down Three Spots to #12 in National Poll
Following their first loss of the season, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers fell three spots in this week’s NJCAA Top 25 poll.
CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Following their first loss of the season, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers fell three spots in this week's NJCAA Top 25 poll.
The Bucs are 4-1 on the year after a thrilling road win over Miami Dade on Wednesday and their first loss of the 2021 campaign on Friday at St. Petersburg.
The top eight in the poll remained the same this week with Northwest Florida holding the pole position and South Georgia Tech, South Plains, and Chipola following in behind. Western Nebraska was this week's biggest riser as they move up six spots to #13 and Moberly Area fell the furthest, dropping from #11 to #17.
FSW is back in action on Thursday when they host undefeated Morton College from Illinois on the front end of a Basketball/Volleyball doubleheader beginning at 4 PM in Suncoast Credit Union Arena.
