CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Riding an eight game winning streak, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers moved up two spots to #18 in the NJCAA Week Six National Rankings on Monday.
The Bucs are 10-3 on the year after a 16 point win over Miami Dade in Citrus Conference action Monday night in Suncoast Credit Union Arena. All eight FSW wins during their streak have come by 15 or more points.
The final three remaining undefeated teams in the country held the top three spots in the week poll with Hutchinson remaining at #1, Northwest Florida at #2, and New Mexico at #3. Dodge City and Wabash Valley both moved up one spot to round out the top five. Along with FSW at #18 and Northwest Florida at #2, the FCSAA was well represented in the poll with Gulf Coast checking in at #7, Chipola at #11, Pensacola State at #20, and Eastern Florida at #23.
The Bucs are back in action on Wednesday when they wrap up the first half of the season with a date with the Hillsborough Hawks in Tampa.
