Big Week Propels FSW Into Top 10 of National Rankings
For the first time in program history, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers are a top 10 team in the country as Monday, the NJCAA released their weekly rankings, slotting the Bucs at #8 after a week in which they defeated a pair of top 10 foes 3-0.

FSW is 9-3 overall on the season after going 3-1 last week with three matches against top 10 ranked opponents. The Bucs rolled over St. Petersburg 3-0 on the road Tuesday before winning a big matchup in Suncoast Credit Union Arena 3-0 over #9 Polk State on Thursday. Sunday they celebrated Valentine's Day with a 3-0 win over #6 Daytona State before dropping their lone match of the week to #1 Miami Dade in a highly competitive battle.
The Bucs were one of five FCSAA teams in the week four poll. The Bucs Sunday opponent Miami Dade continued to lead the way at #1 while Daytona State checked in at #10, one in front of Polk State at #11, and Santa Fe made their first appearance of the year in the poll at #20.
Miami Dade was followed in the top five by Snow, Utah State-Eastern, Navarro and Odessa while Seward County and Iowa Western checked in just in front of the Bucs at #6 and #7 respectively.
The Bucs are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Bradenton to take on State College of Florida before returning home to host Hillsborough in Suncoast Conference play on Thursday.
