FORT MYERS, Fla.- The #2 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers have finalized the schedule for their final four regular season games of the 2022 season as well as announced a location change for the FCSAA State Tournament due to Hurricane Ian.
The Bucs will begin their final stretch on Thursday when they host Eastern Florida State at 6:00 PM at Florida Gulf Coast University's Alico Arena. Saturday FSW will host #4 Miami Dade at 3:00 PM at Bishop Verot High School in Fort Myers in the front end of a home and home with the Sharks which will see the two teams play in Miami on Tuesday, October 25th at 6:00 PM. The Bucs will close out the regular season on Thursday, October 27th at 6:00 PM against Polk State, once again at FGCU's Alico Arena with FSW celebrating Sophomore Night in the final home game of the career of six Buccaneer sophomores.
Another big change will be the location of the FCSAA State Tournament which was originally scheduled to be at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers. Instead of being in Fort Myers, the tournament has made the switch to Melbourne and will now be hosted by Eastern Florida State. That tournament begins November 4th and culminates November 6th with the South Atlantic District B Championship match.
The final three remaining home games for the Bucs will be non-ticketed events with free admission to the public.
