TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- For the second time this season, Florida SouthWestern setter Roberta Purashaj has been named the FCSAA Setter of the Week as announced by the state on Tuesday. 

 

Purashaj put up a unique stat line in a pair of Suncoast Conference wins last week, averaging 9.0 assists, 3.2 digs, and 1.3 blocks per set for the Bucs.  Thursday she put up 18 assists, 9 digs, and 5 blocks in a dominating win for FSW over Eastern Florida and backed that up with a 36 assist, 10 dig double-double in a three set sweep over #4 Miami Dade.  

 

Purashaj currently leads the FCSAA averaging 9.66 per set on the season, nearly an assist and a half more than any other player in the state. 

 

Purashaj and the Bucs are on the road for the final time in Suncoast Conference play tonight as they take on #6 Miami Dade in Miami before returning home to take on Polk State Thursday at FGCU.
