3-0 Week Keeps Bucs Strong at #2 in National Rankings
The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers went a perfect 3-0 last week including a pair of wins over Top 20 ranked opponents to remain the #2 team in the NJCAA National Rankings on Monday.
CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers went a perfect 3-0 last week including a pair of wins over Top 20 ranked opponents to remain the #2 team in the NJCAA National Rankings on Monday.
FSW improved to 14-1 on the year last week, claiming 3-0 sweeps over #17 Daytona State, Polk State, and #18 Hillsborough in Citrus Conference action. The wins give the Bucs 10 victories over Top 20 ranked opponents this season.
The Top 10 teams in the poll stood pat this week with Miami Dade continuing to lead FSW, New Mexico Military, Northeastern, and Barton in the top five. Eastern Florida, the Bucs next opponent moved up one spot to #14 while Daytona State took a couple of steps back to #19 this week.
The Bucs next scheduled game on Wednesday on the road at #14 Eastern Florida has been postponed due to Hurricane Milton with a makeup date set for Monday, October 14th in Melbourne.
