Cesar Benatti was hired to lead the Bucs in the Summer of 2025, becoming the second Head Coach in the history of Florida SouthWestern Volleyball.

Benatti joins the Bucs after serving as an Assistant Beach Volleyball Coach at Loyola Marymount University for the past three seasons. He helped guide the Lions to two of the most successful seasons in the program's history with LMU capturing back-to-back West Coast Conference titles in 2024 and 2025 and making a thrilling run to the NCAA Beach Volleyball National Championship match last season.

Prior to his time at LMU, Benatti spent time at California State University- Bakersfield, coaching both indoor and on the beach. He was a part of two Western Athletic Conference Championships and also became the winningest coach in CSUB's Beach Volleyball program history.

Benatti's coaching career in the United States began at Western Nebraska Community College as an Assistant Coach. In three years, he continued the program's momentum into a national powerhouse. In Benatti's time in Scottsbluff, the Cougars capture three Region IX Championships and a National Championship in 2010.

Along with his work on the court and the beach, Benatti has also mentored over 5,000 coaches through in-person clinics and online programs over the past nine years. His work has influenced the next generation of Brazilian coaches, giving them tools, strategies, and confidence to lead with purpose and vision.
