Bio

Rodriguez begins his second year with the Bucs in 2024-25. 

Rodriguez's first year with the Bucs couldn't have gone much better last season as FSW won a program record 31 games while going 31-1 overall to win the Citrus Conference, FCSAA State, and NJCAA National Championships. Rodriguez helped guide the Bucs through the entirety of the 2023 season as the #1 ranked team in the country while earning 17 wins over ranked opponents in the process. Rodriguez coached eight players, including all seven sophomores, who signed NCAA Division I scholarships at season's end. 

Rodriguez brought a wealth of local Volleyball experience to the Bucs program in 2023 as he served as both the Head Coach at Bishop Verot High School as well as the Director of USA South Volleyball Club in Fort Myers.  Rodriguez began his coaching career at his alma mater, Mater Academy Charter in Miami, before moving to North Carolina to get his club volleyball coaching career started. He moved back to the Sunshine State in 2015 and has remained here ever since, earning Assistant Coach of the Year honors from USA South in 2018 and Head Coach of the Year by the club in 2020. 

Rodriguez lives in Fort Myers with his wife LeAni and his two dogs Thor and Raiden.
