Freshman (2024): A two way threat for the Bucs, Allegood played in 59 games as a freshman both as a pitcher and outfielder. She was a 1st Team All-Citrus Conference selection, hitting .394 with 24 extra base hits and 48 RBIs while going 7-1 with a 2.19 ERA in the circle. Her first career hit was a two run triple on opening day against Georgia Military, one of six triples on the season, good for fifth in single season program history.  Her first career home run came in game one of a doubleheader sweep of Southern Idaho in mid-February. She had a team high 16 multi-hit games as a freshman including a pair of four hit games against #3 Wallace State and State College of Florida. She drove in multiple runs on 12 occassions including two four RBI efforts. Allegood was on fire in the postseason, going 5-9 with two doubles and a home run in three contests before an injury brought her season to a close as she was forced to miss the NJCAA World Series.  For her efforts she was named to the FCSAA State Tournament All-Tournament Team. She earned her first career win in the circle in dramatic fashion, no-hitting Alverno in late February. The no-no began a stretch in which she went unscored upon in five of six contests in the circle for the Bucs.  

High School: Allegood came to FSW after a standout career at Georgia's Colquitt County High School where she was a two time 1st Team All-State selection in 2021 and 2022. Allegood got it done on both sides of the ball, earning Offensive Player of the Year as well as Pitcher of the Year honors as a senior when she hit .516 with 8 home runs and 60 RBIs while also posting a 1.59 ERA with 117 strikeouts in the circle.  In her four year high school career, Allegood blasted 19 home runs, won 50 games on the mound, and racked up 332 strikeouts for CCHS.  

Personal: Born December 20, 2004, she is the daughter of Ricky and Kim Allegood.  Her uncle Ben Saxon was a member of LSU's 2000 College World Series Championship team.

Bucs Blast Way Into National Championship Game

For the fourth time in five years the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers will play for an NJCAA National Championship on Saturday after hammering the #9 Wallace State Lions 11-2 in a five inning run rule in the semifinals on Friday night under the lights at the NJCAA World Series in Yuma, Arizona.

Bucs Use Big Comeback For Opening Round Win

The #1 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers found themselves in an unfamiliar position Tuesday afternoon in their opening game of the 2025 NJCAA World Series, in fact a position that they haven't been in at any point in time during the 2025 season.  The Bucs fell behind #24 Crowder 5-0 right away and eventually faced a 7-0 deficit in the 4th inning, their biggest hole of the season, before roaring back with 11 runs in the final three innings to win 11-8 and avoid the upset.

Don't look now, but the #2 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers are getting hot at the right time.  The Bucs pushed their winning streak to six on Thursday, hammering the visiting Polk State Eagles 8-0 and 8-1 in a doubleheader sweep at Buccaneers Park in Fort Myers to improve to 45-5 on the year and move to within one win of claiming their ninth straight Conference Championship.

The #1 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers split their fourth straight Citrus Conference doubleheader on Saturday, using a pair of homers from Skylar Brennan and a one hit shutout from Leah Meyer in the circle for a 5-0 win over #21 Santa Fe in game one, but they couldn't hold a late 4-0 lead in game two as the Saints scored five unanswered to walk the Bucs off 5-4 to salvage the split.

FSW Sweeps Matchup Of Last Four National Champs

The only two teams to win an NJCAA Division I National Championship the past four seasons hooked up Tuesday afternoon in Fort Pierce as the 2021, 2022, and 2023 Champion Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers squared off against the 2024 Champion Indian River State Pioneers. Game one was dominated by pitching with FSW's Leah Meyer outdueling reigning National Pitcher of the Year J'dah Girigorie in a 2-1 Bucs win.  Game two was a different story as the Bucs exploded for 13 runs in a dominating 13-5 victory to finish off the sweep and remain unbeaten at a perfect 22-0 on the year.

Bucs Arms Dialed In On Day One of Paradise Cove Classic

The #7 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers remained unbeaten on Thursday, dominating their first two games of the Paradise Cove Classic presented by Retallick Financial Group by a combined score of 16-1 while four Bucs pitchers allowed just four hits in route to the victories.

Pitching Dominates As Bucs Finish Undefeated in Dothan

After using their bats to pick up a pair of wins on day one of the Visit Dothan Invitational on Friday, the #7 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers used their arms to collect two more on Saturday as Bucs pitching allowed just one run in two games, defeating Georgia Military 3-1 before blanking Central Alabama 8-0 in game two to finish the weekend a perfect 4-0.

Bucs Cruise to 5-0 in 'Bama

The #7 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers remained unbeaten on the season Friday afternoon in the Visit Dothan Invitational, defeating Northwest Shoals 10-3 before taking care of Shelton State 9-4 to improve to 5-0 on the year.

Bucs Blast Way to Opening Day Sweep

The #7 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers couldn't have scripted their Opening Day much better on Sunday as the Bucs outscored their three opponents by a combined score of 34-6 while run ruling Tallahassee State, #5 Walters State, and Rend Lake in dominating fashion to begin their 2025 campaign a perfect 3-0.

Bucs Open Season Ranked 7th in NJCAA Poll

On the heels of a 57 win campaign and a Top 10 finish at the NJCAA World Series a season ago, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers will open the 2025 season ranked #7 in the NJCAA National Poll as released by the National Office Tuesday.
