It was all FSW early in game one as the Bucs came out and put up a six spot on the Patriots in their first at bats of the contest. Bente Zwanenburg got the scoring going, ripping a two run single through the left side of the Central Florida infield to give the Bucs a quick 2-0 lead before Megan Veilleux came up with the bases loaded two batters later and cranked a grand slam out to deep right field to make it 6-0 FSW at the end of one.

The Bucs didn't score again, but it didn't matter as Giorgiana Woods came in out of the FSW bullpen to wrap things up, pitching around a two out walk in the 5th to keep the Patriots off the board and close out a 9-0 run rule win in a swift 1:17 for the Bucs.
Veilleux and Livingstone combined to drive in seven of the Bucs nine runs in the game with their early homers while Kaitlyn Klismith went 2-2 with two runs scored in the win for FSW. Yzaguirre went four shutout innings, allowing just two hits while striking out seven to earn the win in the circle to improve to 14-2 on the year while Woods lowered her season ERA to a microscopic 0.24 with a scoreless 5th to close things out.
