Four Bucs Named to All-Citrus Conference Team
Four Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers were named to the 2026 All-Citrus Conference teams on Friday as Destinie Gordon and Chelsea Bishop were tabbed 1st Team All-Conference selections and Amelia Williams and Kiara Harris picked up 2nd Team honors.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- Four Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers were named to the 2026 All-Citrus Conference teams on Friday as Destinie Gordon and Chelsea Bishop were tabbed 1st Team All-Conference selections and Amelia Williams and Kiara Harris picked up 2nd Team honors.
Gordon and Bishop both earned 1st Team All-Conference honors for the Bucs during their sophomore campaigns. Gordon averaged just shy of a double-double during the regular season, putting up 10.5 points and 9.3 rebounds per game for FSW. She scored in double figures 17 times on the year and pulled down 10 or more rebounds 15 times. She finished second in the Citrus Conference with her 9.3 rebounds per game which included a 21 rebound effort in a win against Albany Tech. Bishop led the Bucs with 15.3 points per game this season, scoring in double figures 21 times on the year. She turned it up another notch in Citrus Conference play, scoring just under 16 points per game while shooting 51% from the field for FSW.
Williams and Harris picked up 2nd Team All-Conference nods for the Bucs. Williams was one of the top players in the conference late in the season, scoring in double figures in eight of the Bucs final nine games of the regular season including a career high 34 against Miami Dade. She averaged 15 points per game during the stretch, shooting 57% from the field. Harris picks up All-Conference honors for the second straight year after also earning the accolades as a freshman last season at Miami Dade. She finished the regular season ranked second in the Citrus Conference, knocking down 63 three pointers on the year.
The Bucs will be back in action next Thursday when they take on #20 Gulf Coast State in the quarterfinals of the FCSAA Championships in Niceville.
