Freshman (2021): Lawrenz played in 29 of 30 matches for the Suncoast Conference Champion Buccaneers as a freshman in 2021, averaging 1.45 kills and 1.15 blocks per set on the season. A force on both sides of the net, Lawrenz had eight matches with seven or more kills and seven matches with six or more blocks on the year. She reached double figures in kills three times, putting away 10 against Salt Lake, Miami Dade, and Indian River. Her career high in blocks also came against Salt Lake when she was in on nine rejections including a pair of solo stuffs. An outstanding student, Lawrenz was a mamber of the NJCAA All-Academic First Team, the FCSAA All-Academic Team, as well as the Suncoast Conference All-Academic Team.
High School: Lawrenz came to the Sunshine State from Curitiba, Brazil where she attended Seb Dom Bosco High School.
Personal: Born July 1, 2003, she is the daughter of Luiziana Gondim Vieira Lawrenz and Andre Dias Lawrenz. She hasan older sister, Maria (26), and ayounger sister, Clara (12), as well as a brother, Vinicius (28).

After winning an NJCAA National Championship on the court this Fall, Florida SouthWestern Volleyball players Barbara Koehler and Julia Lawrenz earned the ultimate off the court honor on Monday as the pair was named 2023 CSC Academic All-Americans, an honor that goes to just 11 two-year student-athletes across all sports nationwide. Furthermore, the duo was the only pair of teammates of any program in the country to receive the honors.
Florida SouthWestern middle hitter Christina Pratcher has found her home for the final two years of her Volleyball and academic career as the Bucs National Champ will be headed to the Tar Heel State where she will play at Fayetteville State University.
After a record breaking career with the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers, fan favorite Arianna Rossi has signed to play at the Division I level with Southern Utah University next season.
Florida SouthWestern sophomore Maiana Coelho will be moving from one National Championship program to another next season as the Buccaneers’ setter has signed her National Letter of Intent to play at Missouri Baptist University in 2023.

The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers are National Champions. The Bucs secured their first National Championship in just their fourth season of competition Saturday night in West Plains, Missouri, defeating their archrivals, the Miami Dade Sharks 3-1 in the final game of the 2022 NJCAA Volleyball season. FSW's Barbara Koehler was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament while Bucs Head Coach Thais Baziquetto-Allen was named the Heidi Cartisser Coach of the Tournament.

A season ago, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers were stunned in the semifinals of the FCSAA State Tournament with a 3-2 loss to Polk State to end their dreams of the program's first State Championship.
