Bio

Freshman (2023-2024): Silva transfers to FSW from Incarnate Word where he played in 16 games for the Cardinals last season.  He averaged 3.9 points per game while shooting 44% from the field and 42% from the three point line.  He scored a career high 9 points in his second start of his UIW career, going 3-4 from distance in a loss to UTRGV. 

High School: Silva prepped at the NBA Academy in Brazil where he averaged 13 points and 4 rebounds per game in his final year.  

Personal: Born August 13, 2004, he is the son of Luis and Luciana Silva.  He has one brother, Nicolas.

Bucs Clip Century Mark In Fifth Straight Win

Playing in their final home game of the 2025 season, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers put on a show for the Bucs faithful Saturday, lighting up the scoreboard for 102 points with all 11 dressed players scoring and 10 of those players scoring six or more points in a 102-61 blowout win over the Indian River State Pioneers to improve to 18-9 on the year.

Bucs Ride Hot Start to Win Over Saints

Bucs Clipped at the Buzzer

Despite turning it over 26 times and allowing 13 offensive rebounds, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers had a chance to win Saturday afternoon in the Jim Cox Classic in Miami, but couldn't get a last second stop as Southern Union State used a pair of offensive boards and three opportunities to score to clip the Bucs 85-84 at the buzzer to send FSW to their second straight loss.

Bucs Fly Past the Century Mark in Blowout of Spartans

Coming off the high of a big win over the Ranger Rangers Thursday night in Suncoast Credit Union Arena, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers were in no mood for a let up Friday as they took on the Florida Coastal Spartans, blowing past the prepsters 110-63 to improve to 4-0 on the season.
