Freshman (2024-2025): Okoro played his freshman season at Detroit-Mercy where he saw action in 21 games and drew 7 starts. He averaged 2.3 points and 3.5 rebounds per game while shooting 54% from the field. He recorded his career high in both points and rebounds in the same contest, posting his lone double-double of the year with 13 points and 10 boards in his first collegiate game against Cleary. 

High School: Okoro prepped at Combine Academy where he averaged 13 points and 16 rebounds per game as a senior and was a 1st Team All-Conference and All-State selection. 

Personal: Born September 25, 2003, he is the son of Mercy Okoro.
