Bio

High School: Savoya makes the trip from the mountains to the beach, becoming just the second Coloradan to play for the Bucs.  She prepped at Caprock Academy in Fruita, Colorado where she was a four time letterwinner, racking up 660 career digs and over 1,200 career assists. She was a three time All-Conference performer and was twice named Team MVP for the Eagles.  Also a star in the classroom, Savoya was a member of the National Honor Society and was twice named to the CHSAA Academic All-State Team. 

Personal: Born August 29, 2007, she is the daughter of Ethan and Jessica Savoya.  She has an older sister, Ashley (23).

Bucs Close Out Perfect Weekend With Pair of Sweeps

Florida SouthWestern Head Coach Cesar Benatti couldn't have drawn up a much better weekend for his team in their trip across the state to the Titan Classic in Melbourne as Saturday the 3rd ranked Bucs finished a clean sweep of the tournament with a pair of 3-0 victories over Jefferson and USC Lancaster to give FSW 12 set wins in 12 sets played in the event.

Bucs Win Battle at the Beach Championship, Gamboa MVP

The #1 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers cruised to their fourth consecutive Battle at the Beach Tournament Championship, sweeping past Snow and #10 Trinity Valley to finish a perfect weekend at Suncoast Credit Union Arena.  Five FSW players were named to the All-Tournament Team with Sara Gamboa leading the way with MVP honors.
