High School: Hatfield prepped at Oak Cliff Faith Academy where he averaged a double-double as a senior with 10 points and 12 rebounds per game.  He led his team to three State Championships and was also a member of the Oak Cliff Honor Roll. 

Personal: Born January 31, 2007, he is the son of Lamont Hartfield and Kenesha Lyons.

Second Half Woes Cost Bucs Against Pirates

As the old adage goes, it's not how you start, it's how you finish, and unfortunately for the Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers, a big first half was overshadowed by a forgettable second in a 59-55 loss to the Pensacola State Pirates in the 2025 Florida Juco Shootout in Tallahassee.

Bucs Clipped at the Wire by #7 Gulf Coast

The Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers went toe to toe with the #7 Gulf Coast State Commodores for 40 minutes Wednesday night in a rare midweek non-conference matchup between the two in-state foes in Suncoast Arena. In a game that featured 17 ties and 22 lead changes, the Bucs held a lead late, but Gulf Coast got a shot to fall in the final minute of the contest to win it 74-72 to send FSW to their first home loss of the 2025-2026 season.

Bucs Score Season High 114 in Blowout Win

The Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers were clicking on all cylinders Sunday afternoon to close out the Jim Cox Classic in Miami, shooting 60% from the field and 48% from the three point line while dishing out 33 assists on 47 made baskets in a 114-75 blowout of Southern Union State for their sixth straight victory.

Winning Streak to Five as Bucs Down Defenders

The Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers ran their winning streak to five on Saturday in Miami, taking an early lead and never looking back in a 95-50 blowout of Tennessee Valley Prep on day two of the Jim Cox Classic at Miami Dade.

Late Game Comeback Nets Bucs Win

After trailing most of the second half in their first game after the Thanksgiving Break, the Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers pulled off a stunning late game comeback against the Central Georgia Tech Titans, capturing a 70-66 win to improve to 5-1 on the year.
