Bio

Freshman (2023-2024): Britt transfers to FSW after spending her freshman season at Jacksonville University where she played in 23 games for the Dolphins as a rookie. She averaged 2.2 points and 1.4 rebounds per game while playing 13 minutes a night.  The best game of her freshman campaign came against Angel Reese and LSU when she scored a career high 12 points on 4 of 7 shooting while also picking off 3 steals against the Tigers.   

High School: Britt prepped at Jean Ribault and Camden County High School where she was a 1st Team All-Conference performer as a senior, averaging 18 points per game. 

Personal: Born December 21, 2004, she is the daughter of Carlesia and Aaron Britt.  She has a brother, Aaron Jr. (16).

Defense Propels Bucs to Opening Round Win at National Tournament

The #12 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers held the Itawamba Lady Indians to just 36 points in a 61-36 win at the NJCAA National Tournament in Casper, Wyoming Wednesday afternoon.  It is the Bucs first win at the National Tournament since the 2019 season and pushes FSW on to the Sweet 16 where they will take on #3 New Mexico Friday.

Cold Shooting Dooms Bucs in FCSAA Semis

The #12 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers picked a bad time for their second worst shooting game of the season Friday afternoon in Niceville, hitting on just 32% from the field in a 66-54 loss to #4 Chipola to bring their run at the FCSAA Championships to an end in the round of four.  FSW will now have to play the waiting game to see if they have earned an at large bid for the NJCAA National Tournament which will be announced on Sunday.

Bucs Backcourt Duo Named to All-FCSAA Team

The Citrus Conference Champion Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers had a pair of players named to the All-FCSAA Team on Monday as their backcourt duo of Samantha Serrano and Asiana Britt were both named to the squad after standout seasons for the Purple and Aqua.

Bucs Starting Five Named All-Conference, Serrano Player of the Year

After winning their first Citrus Conference Championship in three seasons, five Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers were honored by the league on Friday as Georgi Buzzetti, Asiana Britt, Ivy Brown, and Sarah Owona were named to the All-Conference Team while Samantha Serrano was named the Citrus Conference Player of the Year and FSW Head Coach Jamie Fisher was named the Coach of the Year.

Bucs Win Eighth Straight to Close Regular Season

No team will head to the 2025 FCSAA Tournament hotter than the #12 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers as FSW won their eighth straight game Monday night, going on the road and defeating the Daytona State Falcons 78-52 to close the regular season 23-4.

A wild game of runs came with an even wilder finish Wednesday night in Suncoast Credit Union Arena as the visiting Hillsborough Hawks took a two point lead with :01 remaining on the clock just to see Samantha Serrano nail a three pointer at the buzzer to give the #14 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers a 66-65 win and keep FSW atop the Citrus Conference standings.

Bucs Muscle Way to Win Over Daytona

The outside shots weren't falling Saturday afternoon for the #17 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers, but that didn't matter as they used their size on the inside to score 46 points in the paint and a grinding defensive effort to run past the visiting Daytona State Falcons 76-51 to improve to 11-1 in Citrus Conference play this season.

Six In Double Figures As Bucs Blow Past #5 Gulf Coast 95-73

Playing a brutal early season schedule, the story of the Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers year thus far has been close but no cigar, dropping three games to ranked opponents by a total of 14 points.  Saturday, they made up for that and then some, putting a beatdown on #5 Gulf Coast State as six players scored in double figures including Ivy Brown who lit up the Commodores for 25 as FSW earned their first top five win in over two years with a 95-73 victory in Panama City.

Solid Defensive Effort Not Enough as Bucs Edged By #2 Northwest Florida

For the second straight game, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers went toe to toe with the Nation's #2 ranked team, but once again, the Bucs came up just short in their upset bid as Northwest Florida State edged FSW 58-53 in a defensive battle Friday afternoon in the Panama City Classic hosted by Gulf Coast State.

Bucs Take #2 Northwest Florida To the Wire, Fall in Final Minute

A season ago, the Northwest Florida State Raiders played for a National Championship in Casper, Wyoming. Saturday afternoon in Suncoast Credit Union Arena, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers took them to the wire, erasing a late 13 point deficit to tie the game in the final minute before coming up just short in a 60-56 defeat to wrap up the FSW Classic in Fort Myers.
