Freshman (2025): Kwakernaak was a two way force for the Bucs in 2025, helping FSW to the NJCAA National Championship Game both at the plate and in the circle. She was a 1st Team All-Citrus Conference and 2nd Team All-FCSAA selection in the circle, logging 118 2/3 innings with a 1.83 ERA while going 17-3 across 28 appearances and 18 starts.  She finished with 113 strikeouts on the year while posting a 1.10 WHIP. She didn't start her first game in the circle until FSW's 24th game of the year and promptly threw a complete game shutout against Santa Fe. She was a regular to get the ball from there and really came on at the end of the season, pitching in all nine postseason games where she earned FCSAA Tournament Most Outstanding Pitcher honors as well as getting an All-Tournament Team nod at the NJCAA World Series. At the plate she hit .280 with 6 doubles, 3 triples, and 16 RBIs while collecting seven multi-hit contests. 

High School: Kwakernaak continued the Bucs Dutch pipeline, coming to FSW from Denn Haag in the Netherlands where she attended Calandlyceum Amsterdam. As a senior she logged 100 innings and pitched to a 3.21 ERA.

Personal: Born May 16, 2006, she is the daughter of Jeroen and Marjory Kwakernaak who was a collegiate golfer at LSU.  She has a brother, Lucas (22) and a sister, Julia (21) who plays Softball at LSU Alexandria.

The #2 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers swept an NJCAA Top 25 battle against the #25 Southern Idaho Golden Eagles on Thursday at Buccaneers Park in Fort Myers, pitching an 8-0 shutout in game one of the doubleheader before taking it to CSI again in game two 9-3 to improve to 10-2 on the year.

Bucs Go 2-1 On Busy Day One in Dothan

The #2 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers came out of a rare tripleheader 2-1 Friday in Dothan, Alabama, defeating Volunteer State 8-0 and Calhoun 8-2 while dropping a shocking 1-0 extra innings decision to Northwest-Shoals in the middle of their two victories.

Bucs Blast SCF in Sweep

The #2 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers hammered the State College of Florida Manatees in a pair of non-conference contests on Tuesday, throwing their second no-hitter in three games in a 13-0 win in game one of the doubleheader before piling up 15 hits in a 15-3 game two run rule to sweep the twinbill.

No-Hitter Highlights Opening Day Sweep For #2 Bucs

The #2 Florida SouthWestern Bucaneers couldn't have scripted a better start to their 2026 season on Saturday as they opened the year with a no-hitter in a 12-0 win over Pensacola State before defeating Air Force Prep 10-5 to sweep a pair of games at the Clearwater Kick Off Classic.
