Freshman (2023): Toeniskoetter played in 11 matches for the National Champs last season, averaging 1.55 kills and 1.09 blocks per set while leading the team with a .525 hitting percentage.  She recorded her first career kill in a 3-0 FSW sweep over Central Wyoming on opening weekend and two weeks later, had the best game of her rookie campaign, finishing off 8 kills on just 11 swings, good for a .727 hitting percentage in a win over Coastal Alabama. She had her best match in Citrus Conference play in the Bucs final regular season match of the year, dialing up 6 kills and career high 5 blocks in a 3-0 sweep of Indian River.  

High School: Toeniskoetter joined the Bucs last season after winning a pair of State Championships inside of Suncoast Credit Union Arena while at Lake Worth Christian High School.  She was a four time All-County selection for the Defenders and was a two time finalist for the Palm Beach Post Player of the Year.  Toeniskoetter put up eye popping numbers during her high school career, finishing with 1,115 kills, 425 blocks, and 71 aces while hitting .473 during her career.  As a senior in 2022 she led the state of Florida in kills with 463 and blocks with 114.  Also a stand out in the classroom, Toeniskoetter won a number of academic awards during her time at LWCHS including being a member of the National Honors Society and Presidents Honor Roll while also being her class Valedictorian. Toeniskoetter also had success on the club circut where she won a pair of National Championships playing for the Palm Beach Juniors. 

Personal: Born May 8, 2005, she is the daughter of Jeff and Stacy Toeniskoetter and has one sister, Hanna.  She comes from an athletic family as her father Jeff played Basketball at Rochurst University, her mother Stacy was a Cheerleader at the University of Kansas, her cousin Lindsay Anderson played Volleyball at Northwestern, and another cousin, Adam Toeniskoetter played Football at the University of Central Florida.

Bucs Outlast Utah State Eastern in National Tournament Thriller

Going into Thursday's NJCAA National Tournament Quarterfinal matchup with the #8 Utah State Eastern Golden Eagles, the #1 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers had only gone more than three sets three times during the entirety of the 2024 season. Thursday they had their work cut out for them though as the Golden Eagles took them to the brink, but the Bucs didn't falter, pulling out a thrilling five set win, including a 15-13 victory in the fifth to punch their ticket to Friday's Final Four.

FSW Punches Ticket to Third Straight National Championship Game

For the third straight season, the #1 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers will play for the NJCAA National Championship after defeating the #10 Colby Trojans 3-0 in Friday's semifinal round to punch their ticket to the title game where they will square off with a familiar foe, the #2 Miami Dade Sharks in a rematch of both the 2022 and 2023 National Championship games won by the Bucs.

For the third straight season, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers and the Miami Dade Sharks met for the FCSAA State Championship Saturday afternoon in Fort Myers and also for the third straight season, the Bucs came out on top, sweeping the rival Sharks 3-0 in a spirited Suncoast Credit Union Arena to claim the title in front of their home fans.

Three things are certain in life; taxes, death, and Florida SouthWestern and Miami Dade meeting in the FCSAA State Championship Game.  That remained true on Friday as #1 FSW hammered Daytona State in their State Tournament Semifinal before #2 Miami Dade did the same to Hillsborough in the night cap to set up the Championship matchup for the third straight season Saturday afternoon at 4 PM at Suncoast Arena in Fort Myers.

In front of a raucous home crowd in Suncoast Credit Union Arena, the #2 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers avenged their only loss of the 2024 season Wednesday night with a 3-0 sweep of #1 and previously unbeaten Miami Dade to take control of their own destiny in the race for a fifth straight Conference Championship.

The #2 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers finished up a tough three game road trip with a three set sweep over the #16 Daytona State Falcons Saturday afternoon in Daytona Beach.  The Bucs used a balanced offensive attack with four players with seven or more kills and a tenacious defensive effort, holding the Falcons to a -.010 hitting mark for their seventh straight win to clinch a first round bye for the upcoming FCSAA State Tournament in Fort Myers.

Efficient Attack Powers Bucs Over Santa Fe

The #2 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers looked like a well oiled machine on the offensive end of the net Wednesday night on the road in Gainesville, hitting .420 as a team with eight or more kills from three different players to lead the way to a 3-0 sweep of the Santa Fe Saints to improve to 16-1 on the year.

Bucs Win Fifth Straight In Sweep of #13 Eastern Florida

The #2 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers returned to the floor for the first time in nine days on Monday, sweeping the #13 Eastern Florida State Titans on the road in Melbourne for their fifth straight victory to improve to 15-1 on the year.

The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers swept the FCSAA week seven Player of the Week awards on Tuesday as Julija Grubisic Cabo was named the Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season, Abby Toeniskoetter was named the Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this year, and Camilla Brandalise was named the league's top setter for the fourth time in seven weeks this season.

Rocha/Milicevic's Career Games Leads #2 FSW Over #18 Hillsborough

Giovanna Rocha and Magi Milicevic both posted career highs in kills to lead the #2 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers over the #18 Hillsborough Hawks in Citrus Conference action Saturday at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers.  The Bucs earned their 10th win of the season over a ranked opponent and improved to 14-1 overall on the year in the victory while celebrating MVP Day, where each player had their Most Valuable Person from the FSW campus join them on the floor during pregame introductions.

Bucs Cruise Past Falcons In Top 20 Matchup

The #2 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers made short work of the #17 Daytona State Falcons Monday night in Suncoast Credit Union Arena, sweeping past their Citrus Conference rivals 3-0 in a dominating effort to improve to 12-1 on the year.

Balanced Attack Leads Bucs Past Saints

The #1 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers bounced back from their first loss in nearly 11 months with a 3-0 sweep of the visiting Santa Fe Saints Saturday afternoon at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers.  FSW dialed up a 43 kill attack against the Saints with 11 different players recording a kill in the victory.

Bucs Drop Five Set Heartbreaker In Championship Rematch

In a matchup that had parallels to the Fight of the Century in 1971 between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier, the #1 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers and #2 Miami Dade Sharks squared off in Miami Tuesday night in not only a rematch of the past two NJCAA National Championship Games won by the Bucs, but also a battle of the final two undefeated teams in the NJCAA Division I ranks this season. The clash lived up to it's billing and then some as the Bucs and Sharks went blow for blow for nearly two and a half hours before Miami Dade squeaked out a 16-14 win in the fifth set to hand FSW it's first loss of the 2024 season.

Bucs Thump #19 Eastern, 10-0 For Third Straight Year

The #1 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers dismantled the visiting #19 Eastern Florida State Titans Saturday afternoon at Suncoast Arena in the Citrus Conference home opener, scoring 16 of the final 17 points of the first set for a 25-9 win before breezing to 25-12 and 25-10 wins in the second and third to finish off the sweep and improve to 10-0 on the year for the third straight season.

Bucs Cruise In Citrus Conference Opener

The four time defending Conference Champion Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers kicked off their title defense on Wednesday, making the trip up the coast to Tampa to duel with #16 Hillsborough in their Citrus Conference opener. Midset pushes in all three sets for FSW was the difference as the Bucs took the match 3-0 in a sweep over the Hawks to remain unbeaten at 9-0 on the year.

Bucs Breeze to 8-0 With Pair of Wins in Wyoming

The #1 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers moved to 8-0 on the season Saturday afternoon in the Springhill Suites Cheynne Invitational, defeating a pesky Laramie County team 3-1 in their first match of the day before sweeping past #16 Casper 3-0 to claim the tournament title.

Bucs Take Hard Fought Battles Over #12 NMMI, #3 Northeastern

After an opening weekend in which they were rarely challenged, the #1 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers got their first taste of adversity on Friday in the Springhill Suites Cheyenne Invitational. The Bucs were first pushed by a tough #12 New Mexico Military squad in their tournament opener, eventually coming out on top of a 3-1 decision before going blow for blow with #3 Northeastern, pulling out three tough set wins for their third sweep of a Top 5 ranked opponent already this season.

The #1 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers won their third straight Battle at the Beach Tournament Championship Saturday afternoon in Suncoast Credit Union Arena, sweeping #11 Utah State-Eastern and #5 Trinity Valley in straight sets to begin their 2024 title defense season 4-0.

Bucs Begin Title Defense With Pair of Sweeps On Opening Day

The defending NJCAA National Champion Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers opened up their title defense on Friday at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in the Battle at the Beach Tournament in Fort Myers and they looked as good as the #1 National Ranking advertised, sweeping perennial powers Missouri State-West Plains and #4 Salt Lake in three sets each to begin their 2024 season a perfect 2-0.
